Create a web page that that discusses five web sites in terms of user experience while referring to concepts of navigation and orientation. Consider principles such as Visibility, Feedback, Constraints, and Consistency. The Web Page must contain a navigation area that links to the 5 different pages. The page must include html, text and some formatting. Post the assignment to your Web space and email the link to mailto:rhorton@ryerson.ca

Mini assignment #2

Create a web page that acts as an advertisement for a product or service. Format your page considering interactivity, hierarchy and ease of use. Your page should clearly communicate the following; target group, product/service category, competitive set, and call to action. You must have minimum 1 external link in your page, use a CSS style sheet, and include a minimum of 1 image. The total file size of the page including images must be below 300K. Portal Launch Page. Create a Web page that links to 10 external Web sites. Each link must use an image. Consider the advantages/disadvantages between using a large image or a series of smaller images. The assignment must consider design, visual impact and ease of use. Using Microsoft word or other text editing software, write a one-paragraph summary outlining your Web site’s strategy and objectives. Consider how the strategy will support the objectives you have for the site, and what you wish visitors to do when they view the site. Mini assignment #5

Use your knowledge of css, image optimization and html, create a Web page that realizes the main page of your final project. The page must include your global navigation, general layout and other considerations identified in your final project storyboard.
